I guess if you’re reading this page you’ve seen my images and want to know more about the person who took them.
When I was a little girl my parents asked me, “what do you want to be when you grow up?” I always said, “I want to be a photographer.” I guess it was predestined and that childhood desire has brought me to where I am today.
I have sixteen years’ experience as a professional photographer. My career started in Hawke’s Bay in 1995 doing loads of weddings. In 2000 I moved to Melbourne and for ten years worked for an advertising company specializing in real estate photography. On the weekends, of course, I photographed weddings. In late 2009 I returned to Hawke’s Bay with a husband and twins in tow.
I have a love and passion for wedding photography and, importantly, I take a relaxed approach which is reflected in my distinctive style.
Over the years I’ve learnt what makes a great photograph – the 5 L’s – location, location, location, lighting and listening to my client’s requirements.
